Who We Are

Priya D'Souza, MPH

Laboratory Manager

Priya is from Maryland but came to Emory in 2009 to obtain her MPH. She has been a part of our lab team since graduating in 2011. In addition to keeping the lab running efficiently, she also runs our ICP-MS for trace elements analysis.

Tamaria Hawkins, MBA, MPH

Project Coordinator

Tamaria joined our lab in 2017 and hit the floor ready to organize the PIs. She processes our financials, coordinates meetings, and pretty much anything else you ask her do.

Grace Lee, MPH

Senior Public Health Associate

Grace is another former student who came back to Emory. After obtaining her MPH, she worked for a short time at CDC's Environmental Health Laboratory, but decided to return to Emory. Grace is a "jack-of-all-trades" because she runs multiple instruments at one time. She specializes in both LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS.

Volha Yakimavets, MS

Research Scientist

Olya (as we call her) joined our lab in 2018 after immigrating from Belarus. She has a strong analytical chemistry background and runs most of our automated online sample prep LC-MS/MS methods.
