Laboratory for Exposure Assessment and Development in Environmental Research (LEADER)
LEADER Laboratory is an academic research laboratory focusing on environmental health at the #4 ranked Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH). LEADER is co-directed by four faculty members: Dr. Dana Boyd Barr, Dr. P. Barry Ryan, Dr. Amina Salamova, and Dr. Parinya Panuwet. These faculty are international leaders in environmental exposure assessment. Located at the nationally-ranked Emory University, adjacent to the Roybal Campus of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, LEADER serves as RSPH's primary analytical research laboratory. Housed in Emory's LEED-certified Claudia Nance Rollins Building, LEADER is a modern laboratory facility equipped with various mass spectrometers, spectrophotometers, multiplexer immunoassays and other analytical chemistry equipment to enable high throughput, quality exposure assessment in biological and environmental samples.
